Let's see...I woke up at 2pm to the sound of Picnic banging his light stands together... then I stumbled downstairs to the warehouse to meet our new guests. I hope my penguin pants and smeared makeup helped contribute towards making a good first impression.
The model was sweet. I did her makeup and stuff. I finally had a chance to hang out with the fine folks from Sinched Corsets. I really like them :)
Towards the end of the shoot I was watching the model pose naked covered in fake bugs making funny faces at fake beetles, and I just kinda went into this spaced out mode and started reflecting on the last three years of my life. And I just thought about all of the really interesting stuff I've seen.
So it was kinda like an amazing-reflective-joojoo experience but then I snapped out of it.
Then she gashed herself on a razor and I dressed her wounds, and fumbled a lot in the process...dropping band-aids, trying to do stuff with paper towels that didn't make sense...stuff like that. I would make a terrible nurse.

I listened to a lot of terrible music today. When Picnic and I go out to clubs, there's always someone in a local band that runs up to him and gives him a cd and starts ranting about why he should shoot their band...we finally got around to listening to the cd's today and they were awful. One was so bad it actually made me angry. That really doesn't happen that often.
I saw Old Boy for the first time. I watched the first 30 minutes of the movie in Korean...I'm not sure if I made that choice out of curiosity or laziness. Eventually I decided I better turn on the subtitles and the movie was amazing after that.
My internet connection has been intermittent all day, so I decided to spend most of my time editing photos of other people.
Since my day wasn't very interesting, I will now write out something that I'm reading from The Popcorn Factory catalog.

Lystra is a really sweet girl and I would shoot with her every week if I could, but she lives too far away. Anyways, she's one of my favorites and I almost smashed her head into a washing machine.

If you read my journal regularly you'll remember this story. This is the lovely lady whose photo I tried to make better but while doing so I got her right in the eye with milk. As you can see, she took it like a sport. And might I add, she looks adorable taking a shot in the eye.
