I only had four hours of sleep last night. Nothing compared to the 10-12 hours I've been accustomed to getting lately. Coffee still makes me feel guilty so I drank chai tea throughout the morning to stay alert.
The reason I woke up so early was to go spend the morning with my sister. I found a new white and gray half-sleeved hoodie that I'm in love with and plan to wear everyday around the house.
I don't love food nearly as much as I used to love it. I feel like I've finally broken a cultural barrier or something. I feel guilty even talking about it now. Honestly, I kinda feel guilty writing about it but it's not so bad because I'm writing about how I don't love it anymore.
A few minutes ago Picnic and I were laying here calmly and I was caressing his stomach until lightning struck so close it shook the house and I jumped up in the air. Hmm...and as I write this the power is flickering on and off. Why does it rain so much here...oh yea, because Houston is a swamp. Wonderful.
I'm trying to stay optimistic about my back pain. When I used to see a chiropractor she would pop some metal thing into my spine and shoulders and tell me my back pain later that day was a sign of healing. Maybe my back is spontaneously healing? I hope my optimism isn't based on a foundation of delusion, which it probably is but I have been using a new chair, so maybe it is getting better.
Picnic is shooting Manson right now. I'm gonna go watch Blades of Glory and try to catch up on my sleep.

I decided to go out last night and visit with my family over at my sister's house. My mom came into town so it was a good opportunity to see everyone all at once. I ended up spending the night after I fell asleep in a recliner chair which turned into a ridiculous task to stop myself from popping back up all night into the sitting position while I was sleeping.
At 8am I hear my mom say, "You've had enough sleep, time to get up!" So I was awake at 8am today with a sore back and circles under my eyes. The first thing I do is go for the watermelon and try eating to wake up so I don't fall asleep again. After 20 minutes I'm awake enough to not fall back asleep, then not too long after that my sister comes stumbling out of her bedroom and mentions that she needs to go shopping today. The last day of tax-free weekened. I mentioned the tax-free weekend thing to her and her eye twitched a little bit at the thought of the crowded parking lots and the mile long checkout lines but we decided to venture out anyways.
We went shopping for six hours, and I have now purchased a grand total of 8 new pairs of shoes over the course of this week. It's time to stop.
Since everything I did before dinner isn't that interesting, I decided to make an animated gif of me jerking off a bottle of baby oil and unloading on Nancy Bui.
