Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching. Being a vegetarian and living in Texas makes this holiday kinda unappealing. If I don't spend it with friends then I get to listen to distant family members criticize my lifestyle and tell me how I won't live to see 50 if I don't stuff my face with turkey. *vomit* It's cranberry sauce sandwiches for me. Which isn't so bad. Actually it's kinda good.
Funny thing about weekends when you're unemployed. They don't quite mean so much.

I was on the road for over ten hours yesterday.
There was one point around 11:30pm when I accidentally turned onto the service road instead of the freeway, and was stuck on that road for about ten minutes. Imagine...it's Halloween night, I'm in the middle of nowhere, hardly any cars, stuck on the service road where no life is to be found, and all of a sudden the pavement turns into gravel and potholes and I can't seem to find a way out. So I was pretty freaked out. But then I found an exit back onto the freeway and barely made it home.
Boo. :)
