I decided to go out last night and visit with my family over at my sister's house. My mom came into town so it was a good opportunity to see everyone all at once. I ended up spending the night after I fell asleep in a recliner chair which turned into a ridiculous task to stop myself from popping back up all night into the sitting position while I was sleeping.
At 8am I hear my mom say, "You've had enough sleep, time to get up!" So I was awake at 8am today with a sore back and circles under my eyes. The first thing I do is go for the watermelon and try eating to wake up so I don't fall asleep again. After 20 minutes I'm awake enough to not fall back asleep, then not too long after that my sister comes stumbling out of her bedroom and mentions that she needs to go shopping today. The last day of tax-free weekened. I mentioned the tax-free weekend thing to her and her eye twitched a little bit at the thought of the crowded parking lots and the mile long checkout lines but we decided to venture out anyways.
We went shopping for six hours, and I have now purchased a grand total of 8 new pairs of shoes over the course of this week. It's time to stop.
Since everything I did before dinner isn't that interesting, I decided to make an animated gif of me jerking off a bottle of baby oil and unloading on Nancy Bui.

I jumped on the bandwagon and shot a set of photos of myself today. It was really difficult trying to hold the camera far enough away to get more than pieces of my body. I guess that means I can't do it without Picnic <3 I sure do miss him. My really big pillow just isn't the same at night.

That storm wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. And unforunately, the power never went out so the sheet fort wasn't as amazing as it could have potentially been had the power actually gone out. The only thing bizarre that happened was all of the alarms in the building went off and the streets flooded for about thirty minutes in the morning, and that's it.
I said I would show you photos so I'm prepping another set to put on the site :)
My special lady friend Ursulla Fredricka and I went on an adventure in the downtown tunnels today. We thought a day where Houston was on the brink of a major tropical storm and flash floods was a good day to be underground for the first time, where our phones had no signal and the only food between the two of us was a small pack of madelines and iced coffee. We sometimes have overactive imaginations when put in awesome situations such as this, so we pretended like we found a secret and we were explorers in a hidden underground civilization.
