Driving from Merced to Houston was crazy times. My knee fell asleep in El Paso...I didn't even know that was possible.
I have new neighbors.
Texas is really pretty. Houston is not pretty at all when driving into it. There's some very beautiful parts of Houston, but none of them are along the road into town.
I have the exact same birthday as Audrey Kitching. Same year, same day. Crazy.

We're back on the road again, we should be in Arizona in about an hour. The California mountains were amazing. I stopped by a farmer's market and stared at peacocks in amazement for 20 minutes:

I love Vegas. I do not love losing money at the War table though.
So I started drinking when I got here on the 5th and haven't really stopped yet. I need a month long detox after my birthday.
Speaking of my birthday, Ursulla and I are having a cocktail party that weekend. She's wonderful for putting it together. I'm really excited about it because I've never done anything really classy for my birthday; last year I was messed up on margaritas in Mexico riding mechanical bulls.
I like to prank text people pictures of fish. So now you know, it's me if you get one. I think I even made a new phone friend doing it.
