The city of Houston shuts down between the hours of 2:30AM - 5:30AM. I never see any cars, I never see any people (crackheads don't count), no businesses are open except gas stations, and the streets would be pitch black if it weren't for street lights. And I live in a stone's throwing distance of downtown Houston. Nothing! It's madness.
I wish there was something like a Bed Bath and Beyond that was open from 9PM to 6AM that crackheads weren't allowed to go inside and there were just normal people that wanted to go buy a bunt cake pan at 3:30AM, like me. But no. I have to compromise my whacked sleeping schedule if I want to do anything normal.
I asked my friend who keeps similar sleeping hours what he does at night to keep from going stir crazy. He told me, "Porn/food/TV. The Holy Trinity." Maybe I'm just not cut out for the night life. Or maybe I should start waking up earlier than 7-9 PM. I just don't know anymore.
'Tis the season for candy corn! Why does everyone hate candy corn? I love it! I went out at 4AM and bought a bag of it and brought it home for Picnic and me. He stares at it kinda funny then eats one. After that, he gives me a weird look and eats another one. Finally, he makes a disgusted face and stops eating them. More for me!
My Treo came today in the mail, and I love it.
Apneatic.com is 9 months old. *Sob* My baby is growing up so fast.
Now I'm gonna go lay on the bed and play with my new phone. :)
