Today was the shoot for a leather company based in Portland. I think it went well called Spartacus. The makeup artist also styled this really nice wig, but the rough thing was the hair was so long it reached my thighs, and wigs that long like to get tangled and frizz easily in Texas humidity. But we made it through the shoot okay, and I think the pictures look nice :)
haven't seen my place this wrecked in over a year. There's clothes all over the place, makeup strewn about the office area, water bottles and glasses on every hard surface. I guess that's a sign that we had a good shoot :) We "tore it up", as they say. Picnic is the best. In the same amount of time it took to get all of the styling done, he shot all of the products we needed to get done today.
Now we have to take our new friend back to her hotel. She's gotta get on a plane tomorrow and fly back to Portland. And I've gotta get my behind in bed because I'm tired.
Tomorrow is already the first day of June! Crazy.
I just found out we're going to New York in June! I'm so excited :) And we're going to Vegas in July...wooo! I've been wanting to travel again.

There's a new model from Minneapolis named Tabitha Deepthroat, and she is so awesome. I was lucky enough to shoot with her, even though I was up in Minneapolis under most depressing circumstances, I'm glad I got to meet her and work with her. She's bald and tattooed and that's just all kinds of smokin' hot. She's no Picnic, but ya know =D

This lady is asleep in my room right now. She's leaving early tomorrow morning and will probably reach her house by the time the sun is setting.
We had tons of fun today. The awesome SINched crew, Nos, and I went out for a delightful breakfast. After that, SINched had to get back to their horses (I think). Cause you know, everyone in Texas has to keep up with their horses. That's how we get around the city. Once we parted ways, Nos and I went bowling and I scored an 83 - that's the highest score I've ever had at bowling. My pink ball and I were unstoppable.
Now I'm back at home. I like to sneak attack Picnic and jump on him and make him fall onto the bed then I cuddle him until he falls asleep. It's kinda ninja stealth, but much more cute.
I just found out I'm going to Schlitterbahn this weekend for some wild watery fun. I haven't been to a water park in seven years, so I'm really excited.
I need to get to work, it's already 10 pm and I haven't done anything *scream*.
I have "Born To Be Alive" by the Disco Kings stuck in my head. I gotta stop looking at YTMND so much.

I'm a really big fan of modesty as far as self-image goes. There's a big difference with being open and comfortable in your skin, and just being a conceited rat. Unfortunately, sometimes I have to work with people who can't exercise even the slightest amount of modesty. I fear that very soon in my future I'll have to deal with another one of these characters, and even more unfortunate is I might never have the chance to tell them how I really feel about them.
So I was hanging out with Ursulla today, and she gave me the best advice ever in regards to dealing with people like this. She suggested I make a shirt with a photo of me on it that says "#1". And I need to make sure that I act as arrogant as they do the whole time; flinching when I have to make eye contact or any kind of physical contact with them is bonus points.
Think about how genius this is...really...and hilarious...all at the same time.
That's the best piece of advice I've been given all month.
